Wings of Icarus

Wings of Icarus was our first game project during my studies at AP Academy, collaborating with The Game Assembly (a game development school in Stockholm and Malmö), with us creating sound and music for their game.

For this project we did not have access to third party implementation (eg. Fmod or Wwise) and had very little control over the final implementation, which was done directly in their own custom engine. This came with a lot of challenges, mainly when it comes to spatialization, attenuation, reverb and with dynamic music.

My main role on this project was as a composer, writing music for two of the three levels in the game, focusing on dynamic and thematically appropriate musical themes, without the possibility of utilizing interactive layering or changes to the music.
