Fika Frenzy
Sound Design and Implementation
Fika Frenzy was a student project and a collaboration between us at AP Academy and The Game Assembly (a game development school in Stockholm and Malmö).
For this project I worked together with three colleagues, with my tasks including sound design as well as helping with implementation using Fmod.
Having a clear mix, while at the same time impactful and comedic sound design that complemented the music, was to me the biggest challenge with this project. This was solved primarily by implementing a priority system for all sounds, ducking and sidechaining sounds based on ‘importance’.
